Built for healthcare entrepreneurs

Protecting more than your practice

Running an HRT or wellness practice means your financial responsibilities extend beyond patient care. Your income, your family, your employees, and the business you’ve worked to build may all depend on the right protection being in place.

As your role changes from healthcare provider to business owner, your insurance needs can change too. Kincaid Solutions helps you look at both sides of the picture — personal protection for you and your family, and business-focused solutions that support the practice you’re building.

  • Protect Your Income

Your ability to work is one of your most valuable assets. Disability and income protection can help create a financial safety net if illness or injury interrupts your career.

  • Protect Your Family

Life and health coverage can help protect the people who depend on you while your business continues to grow.

  • Protect Your Practice

As you hire employees, expand services, or open additional locations, your business protection may need to evolve alongside your practice.

As your practice grows

As your practice grows, so should your protection

Hiring your first employee, expanding your services, opening another location, or planning for retirement can all change what you need to protect. Regularly reviewing your coverage helps make sure your insurance strategy keeps pace with the business you’re building.

The next step is to tell us a little about your situation so we can help identify the coverage that may fit your personal and practice needs.

Frequently asked questions

What HRT providers ask most often

Still curious? Reach out — we’ll get back to you within one business day.

I’m opening an HRT clinic. What insurance should I consider?

At minimum: general liability and professional liability (malpractice) for the practice, property coverage if you have a physical space, workers’ comp once you hire, business interruption, and a personal disability policy. We’ll walk through each one and prioritize what you need before you open the doors versus what to add later.

Can you review my existing policies?

Yes — a no-pressure policy review is one of the most useful conversations we have. We’ll show you what you have, what’s competitive, what’s redundant, and where you have a coverage gap. If everything is in order, we’ll tell you that too.

Do I need disability insurance if I’m self-employed?

For most HRT providers, yes. Your ability to earn is your single largest asset. A personal disability policy replaces a portion of your income if illness or injury keeps you from practicing — and unlike employer policies, it follows you no matter how your practice changes.

What are my options for employee benefits?

Plenty. From traditional group health plans to Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), Health Matching Accounts, dental and vision, and supplemental benefits — we help you build a benefits package that’s competitive without overcommitting your budget.

Can you help if I practice in another state?

Yes. We’re licensed in 23 states and routinely serve HRT providers and other healthcare professionals nationwide through our HRTU partnership.

Do you work with both individuals and practices?

Both — and we usually start with both. The clinician’s personal coverage (life, disability, health) and the practice’s coverage (liability, group health, business continuity) work best when designed together.
